More puzzles
1) In a village people want only boys. They will continue to have children till they get a boy. If they have a boy then they stop. What will be the ratio of boys and girls in that cillage.
2) You are playing a game. There is circular table. you and your opponent should place the coins (circular coins) in the table. At the end whoever cant place the coin in the table loses. What will be your stategy.
3) There are 100 prisoners in a jail. Warden has announced that he will conduct a game and kill who all loses in that. The game is
- He has infinite red and blue hats
- He will put the hats on the heads of the prisoner
- Prisioners will not know the color of the hat they are wearing
- All of them will be asked to stand in a line.
- Each person can see the persons standing in front of him. Ist person cannot see anyone.
- Each prisoner need to tell the color of their hat.
- If the prisioner tell wrongly then warden will shoot him. On guessing correctly prisioner will be released.
Come up with a deerministic stategy so that you can minimise the number of kills.
4) Little maths...There are 3 persons lets call them A, B, C. A can shoot with 33% accuracy. B can shoot at 50% accuracy. C can shoot at 100% accuracy. They will be asked to shoot at any of them. A will be given first chance then B and then C. If you were A how will you increase the probability of your survival and what is the probability.
5) How many places are there meeting the following condition: starting from that place walk 1Km south, turn left and walk 1Km east then turn left walt 1Km north and reach the starting point.
6) Five pirates loot 100 gold coins. They are ranked by the number of years as pirates. Highest ranked pirate will get to choose how to divide the coins. If the suggestion of senior guy doesnt get atleast 50% then he will executed and the second sernior most guys takes over. This will go till the senior guy's suggestion gets 50% vote. All the pirates are greedy (they want to get more golds). No one wants to die. If you were the senior most what will be your suggestion to split the gold.
