House hunting

We(Ulu, sriraag and myself) were doing house hunting. Actualy ulu was doing all the work. Me and Sriraag were just sleeping and happily spending time. I didnt realize how fast the rents are increasing in Hyderabad. In a place like Madhapur (it is in some corner of the city) the rent for 2 BHK is 'atleast' 8-9K. I thought these rates are high and decided to check out my mail box related to house rents. Man... I was at shock to see that minimum rent that i see is 9K. Most commonly i see something like 20K for 2BHK. And nothing special in those houss nor the areas were good.

Got some off hand info from my friends about the real estate in hyderabad. Hmmm.. no less than Mumbai. There are some plots costing as much as 60K/sqft. Sometime back i read in mumbai it costs 65K/sqft. Sometime back AP government sold 5 Acre land for wooping 335 crore (Rs. 1.42 lakhs/sqmt). Hyderabad is all set to defeat Bangalore in real estate and house rents (It might have already beaten).

Leaving the real estate business... are you wondering why we are planning to leave. Hyderabad is very nice place for 8 months. Rest of the 4 months (march - June) you feel you are inside an owen. To add to this we are staying in top floor. That should really explain the reason.
